IBSAglobal Null results repository: In a world where only “successful” experiments get published, IBSAglobal is taking a bold first step to fix what's broken.

IBSAglobal’s 1st contribution to STEM: Null Results Repository is a revolutionary initiative aimed at rewriting the norms of scientific publications . It challenges the age-old bias that only trendy or HIGHLY progressive study to be documented and shared.

In reality, many well-designed, well-executed studies produce null results—findings that are not flashy, but just as important for progress,  These are often buried, forgotten, and not taken seriously. IBSAglobal understands the importance and value that these studies hold.

A researcher has spent tons of resources, money, invested time into this and if not shared it’s all wasted and not only it is wasted by this same experiment will be repeated by hundreds if not thousands of researchers all across the world just because it wasn’t documented and they all thought of it as “gap”.

These studies are NOT worthless, they are NOT useless, they are just not trendy. They’re not something may lead to further studies (at least that’s what we think, but can’t be sure about that), but they are useful indeed.

In one of our talks with researchers we’ve found that had hard time Publishing  null results paper Which took them 5 journals and 3 years to do so, is now on TOP 3 MOST CITED papers. Well now isn’t that crazy?!

What Is the Null Results Repository?

Null Results Repository is an initiative of International Bureau for Scientific Advancement (IBSAglobal) to document, share studies that are usually discarded by journals for it been less trendy, getting less attention and no future scope meanwhile hundreds of thousands of dollars wasted by multiple researchers on it repeatedly since there’s no documentation.

It’s a dedicated platform created to publish and preserve scientifically sound studies that yielded null, inconclusive, or non-trendy results. Think of it as the home for valuable research that traditional journals often ignore.

Whether it’s an experiment that disproved a hypothesis or a dataset that revealed no clear trend, IBSAglobal believes that transparency is the foundation of scientific growth.

IBSAglobal Null results repository: Why It Matters

In science, we often celebrate the big breakthroughs — the discoveries that confirm a theory, break new ground, or make headlines. But what about the countless hours, experiments, and efforts that didn’t lead to a major “yes”? Those results, the ones that quietly say “no” or “not quite,” are just as important. And yet, they almost never see the light of day.

IBSAglobal’s Null Results Repository is here to change that.

This initiative recognizes the truth every researcher knows deep down: even when an experiment doesn’t go as planned, it still teaches us something. It can save another scientist from making the same mistake, show where a theory starts to crack, or point us in a better direction. Ignoring those stories doesn’t just waste effort — it holds back progress.

That’s why this matters. Because:

  1. It levels the playing field by giving credit to careful work, not just exciting outcomes.
  2. It saves time, energy, and funding by preventing repeated dead ends.
  3. It encourages a culture where honesty is rewarded, not punished.
  4. And it builds a research community that values learning — even when the answer is “no.”

What’s Next?

For IBSAglobal Null results repository, next (as of early March) is to introduce a model of journal approved by professionals which is convenient and easy to publish “non-trendy” results with.

IBSAglobal’s mission is to make advance STEM but filling up gaps which may be holding it back, and IBSAglobal Null results Repository is out FIRST initiative to do so!!

IBSAglobal’s 1st contribution to STEM: Null Results Repository isn’t just a platform. It’s a signal to the global scientific community: Every result matters.Whether you’re a researcher, reviewer, or STEM enthusiast, this initiative opens the door to a more transparent and honest scientific future.
